The deadline for the Afghan government to sign the Bilateral Security Agreement (BSA) with the United States is fast approaching. Except . . . the deadline is not really a "hard" deadline. The U.S. will very likely cave to Karzai once again and extend the deadline into early 2014 and quite possibly until after the Afghan presidential elections scheduled for April 5, 2014.
