Afghanistan and the WTO. In December 2015 it was decided that Afghanistan could join the World Trade Organization. This should have some benefits to the Afghan economy over the next few years to include an increase in employment (possibly 10%) and a 1.5 percent boost in Afghanistan's gross domestic product.
