Ashraf Ghani has been sworn in as the new president of Afghanistan. At his inauguration Ghani said he would eliminate corruption, work for long-term peace, encourage development and reform, end poverty, and clean up the judiciary. He acknowledges that establishing security is key to accomplishing his other objectives. Read more in
