65 Afghan Detainees Freed by Karzai

Afghan insurgents under detention by the Afghan government have now been freed. Many were confined due to attacks against NATO or ANSF troops over the past several years. Over sixty-five detainees were released from the high-security Bagram detention center. The U.S. embassy in Kabul has labeled the move as "deeply regrettable".
