Karzai Plan to Release Prisoners Puts BSA in Doubt

President Karzai is planning on releasing some detainees (approximately 86) currently held at the Bagram detention center located north of Kabul. This planned release is over the objections of the ISAF Coalition and is putting the Bilateral Security Agreement process into further jeopardy. The Karzai administration states that many of the detainees are innocent as there is not enough evidence to hold them.
