Traffic Police and Corruption

A look at how corruption works in the traffic department is indicative of the problem of corruption at large in Afghan society. Corruption takes place in Afghanistan at all levels and comes in all sizes. One reason the government enjoys very little support from the Afghan population is the large-scale corruption found in all government offices. Some Afghans feel a return to Taliban rule would be better than living under the current government.
