The Marines are leading the way in the military in the use of
solar power in Afghanistan. They are now using a new technology called Ground Renewable Expeditionary Energy Network (GREEN) to power small operations centers in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Read the news release and watch a short video describing this technology in
