Commentary: Why We Won't Be Successful in Afghanistan

George H. Wittman writes a weekly column for the American Spectator Online. In this post he tells us why we have not been successful in defeating the Taliban and in our nation-building endeavor in Afghanistan. Part of his message is that the Afghan people cannot be divided into Pro and anti-Taliban. Their loyalties lie with their family, clan, and tribe.
