Leonie Industries Under Fire for Afghan Contract and Not Paying Taxes

Leonie Industries has been awarded a lucrative contract to conduct Information Operations in Afghanistan - to the tune of $20 million. However, the two principal owners owe $4 million in federal taxes. Two senators are interested in whether the defense department has tried to recoup the federal taxes.  Read more in "Two senators target government contractors with back taxes", USA Today, March 8, 2012.

Leonie only owes the tax money cause the government hasn't fulfilled their agreement with a major payment to Leonie Industries so the owners took money out of their own personal pockets to fund their company in these hard economical times. What's wrong with that? Tom Vanden Brook blew it up and chose to focus on the personal issues of company owners rather than how great the company is actually doing and misreported the story once again just like the sago mine disaster

    So how can you trust a reporter that digs deep into something that is irrelevant and wasting time? post after post on USA Today about state representatives calling for an investigation that's a waste of time and money when the facts have been out there since Clark Ervin, the former Inspector General on behalf of Leonie Industries released a statement .. here is the link, see for yourself.
