EU and the Multiannual Indicative Programme (MIP)

The European Union (EU) and the government of Afghanistan have signed the basic document for the Multiannual Indicative Programme (MIP). This document outlines the EU development and aid policy for the next 7 years. The total EU commitment will be 1400 million pounds or 200 million pounds per year. Most of the money will go toward Afghan health care programs.
