Humanitarian Aid in Afghanistan Faces Challenges

There are many humanitarian aid organizations working in Afghanistan. Their reach to remote areas of the country is becoming more difficult with the withdrawal of U.S. and other ISAF troops. The Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) have their hands full trying to stop the Taliban from overtaking districts and more of the rural countryside. This reduces the areas that the aid organizations can operate in and more importantly - provide proper oversight and monitoring of their projects.
