RS IO Machine at Odds with Reality

In the seminal 1230 report that is delivered to Congress every six months the status of the fight in Afghanistan is provided. This past 1230 report from October 2014 provided a favorable outlook on the situation in Afghanistan and the ability of the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) to defeat the Taliban.
