Medical Services Mean Fewer Child Deaths in Afghanistan
The growth of medical services and clinics in Afghanistan has made remarkable strides in the decrease of child deaths. In 2001 one in four children died before the age of five. In 2014 only one in ten die before the age of five. While still a very high death rate among children it is obvious that some gains have been made.
