Afghanistan is a nation with many refugees. Some live within the country and others in bordering countries - for the most part Iran and Pakistan. Dealing with the refugees is a complicated business for the many humanitarian aid agencies. On the one hand there are the corrupt Afghan officials and on the other the difficulty of distinguishing who is a refugee and who is poverty stricken looking for a free hand-out. Read more in
