Afghan Development News

$$$ for Crop Diversification. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the European Union (EU) are providing $76 million in grants to enhance crop diversification and food security in Afghanistan. The intent is to improve irrigated agriculture in the Panj-Amu River Basin. The project will improve water availability for irrigated agriculture through better water distribution and management.
